I believe that the realization that you are worthy of acceptance is a powerful idea and a catalyst for growth and healing…

Keith Post, MA, LPCC

I believe that a critical piece in generating positive therapeutic outcomes is the relationship that you develop with your therapist.

As a counselor I meet people where they are; I see others nonjudgmentally and understand them through their perspectives, cultures, values, and experiences. I’ve seen that significant progress occurs only when a strong therapeutic alliance is formed.

I further support people by being flexible in the therapy room. I recognize when someone simply wants to feel heard and validated or when they’re looking for insight (or guided to their own).

I notice when someone wants to expand their skillset or knowledge or when a gentle challenge is necessary, and I find that therapy is most effective when it’s individualized so that sessions don’t always look and feel the same for every person.

I enjoy working with adults ages 18 and older, I’m particularly skilled at helping young adults, and I specialize in helping individuals with anxiety. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy and will incorporate dialectical behavior therapy, particularly mindfulness-based techniques, as well as reality therapy into my practice.

I’m a native New Yorker who has called Colorado home for the past 8 years and I love hiking, weightlifting, watching sports, and listening to podcasts. I take advantage of the gorgeous weather that this state offers by escaping into nature, having a barbecue, and going on walks in the Denver metro area.

I believe first and foremost in creating an environment of acceptance in therapy. I will see you and accept you for who you are. I believe that the realization that you are worthy of acceptance is a powerful idea and a catalyst for growth and healing.
