Why I Practice Therapy
Having my own lengthy, complicated grief story is part of how I found myself in the field of counseling.
From experiencing death, losses of close family and friends, to trying to navigate through difficult times of transition, I’m a firm believer that a little help goes a long way when coping with life’s challenges.
As a counselor in Denver I work to provide the highest quality care to help you find healing, growth and connection through therapy.
I graduated from Regis University with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I’m also certified in Depth Psychotherapy and Child & Adolescent Counseling.
I specialize in grief counseling and provide support if you’re experiencing challenges in life that prevent growth or make you feel “stuck”.
I work with people of all ages, starting with younger children all the way up to older adulthood.
My Approach To Therapy
I feel it’s important for you to share your story and to be heard. We will work together to discover what’s best for healing and growth in your life and your journey toward your sense of wholeness.
I will work with you to create a plan that will meet you where you’re at in life. I also include experienctial methods and activities such as art as therapy and sandtray when appropriate to help deepen the counseling experience.
I’ve worked with diverse, multicultural populations, I’m LGBTQ affirming and will honor you as a unique individual and value your life experiences.
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey!
