Hi, I’m Ali

Imagine what life would be like if you weren’t weighed down by self-criticism, self-doubt, and anxiety. If you weren’t stuck in one-sided relationships or constantly feeling disconnected from yourself and others.

Imagine what it would be like to trust yourself, prioritize your needs without feeling guilty, set boundaries, and engage authentically in your relationships.

You deserve to untangle yourself from whatever is keeping you small and stuck. It may be trauma, toxic relationships, or beliefs and expectations you’ve absorbed over time that are no longer serving you. We’ll work together to discover what it is for you so that you can reclaim the very best parts of yourself.

How I Can Help You As Your Therapist

I help women rediscover their belovedness by breaking free from people-pleasing and perfectionism. Women who are tired of pouring from an empty cup and have dared to believe they deserve better than constantly vacillating between feeling like they’re too much and not enough.

My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion and connection. I believe you’re hardwired to heal and you do so best in relationship.

My hope is that our work together will honor the uniqueness of your story and empower you to rediscover the goodness you already possess. You’ve always been enough. It’s time you start believing it.

My Background And Experience

As a survivor of complex trauma, I know what it’s like to have trauma set fire to your life and to feel controlled by anxiety. For much of my life, my people-pleasing pursuits consumed me and lead to a life of disconnection.

I thought it was the way to connection, love, safety, and belonging. Finding my way back to me might be the most sacred journey I’ve been on, which is why I love helping others feel at home in themselves.

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I integrate trauma-informed, body-centered, and relational practices into my approach such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Attachment Theory, Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I believe these approaches promote you being in the driver’s seat of your therapy experience and your life.

Our work together will be oriented around the idea of “undoing aloneness” and equipping you with resources to access your inherent wisdom, feel more connected to yourself, and be more in control of your life.

Together you’ll learn how to listen to the story your body holds with curiosity and kindness. We’ll always go at your pace. We’ll explore the necessary components for creating safety and trust in our relationship, and we will collaboratively determine a therapy outline that feels aligned with your values and needs.
